Students and Teachers from Horizon School were lucky enough to travel to Crans Montana in Switzerland to ski for a week. It was a wonderful trip. The children were able to develop their skiing skills as well as experiencing many other things. For some it was the first time that they had seen snow falling. Just after it snowed we went for a torch lit walk into the forest where we told ghost stories. The children also went ice skating, bowling, tubing and took part in many other activities.

One of the highlights for some of the skiing and snowboarding groups was going up to a glacier at 3000m and skiing back down towards the resort.

A wonderful week was had by all and we look forward to returning next year.
